But then I explained what I meant:
Friends are always beside you. Wherever you are and whatever you do. Time and distance don't matter. They support you but they're not important for your job.
Beloved and relationships aren't important for job, too.
You have to improve yourself. Even "teamwork" is a contest between you and your colleagues.
You work to spent your life in a good way, a nice flat or house with enough food and health.
The same applies to knowledge. I don't have to know everything I learned at school or what others think is important. A profound knowledge of my chosen art is everything I need to perform my work.
"But what about history?"
History is what someone said about something in the past. Delete every statement that doesn't fit your notion and even a lie can be called 'history' or 'truth' in a hundred years.
Remember: "There's nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact." (S.H.)
You see?
I'm not selfish. My thinking is just different than yours. But why is it bad?
Don't get me wrong!
I love my friends and they're more important to me than my relationship. But the events of the last year have shown me that you can't even rely on your family.
The imagination of 'love' and 'secureness' are specs that hide the savage truth: At least you're all alone.
I'll give you some advice:
Nothing happens for a reason. The only reason would be for testing faith in something better. Be pleased with everything and everyone you have! Whether it's friendship, family or relationship.
Your life doesn't depend on others.
